As first-time business owners setting out on an adventurous journey into unknown territory, we knew that we were in for some interesting and exciting times as we navigated the inevitable highs and lows that any new start-up business encounters.
This has certainly been the case for us – Jason, Tim, and Ian as the directors and co-founders of Growth Australia – who today are proudly celebrating our 3rd birthday alongside our growing team of 18 dedicated ‘Growthites‘.
As we reflect on the last 3 years, we can gladly say that we have stayed true to our guiding principle of fostering a customer-centric approach combined with service excellence as we continue to deliver exceptional environments. With a well-crafted and hands-on approach, the entire Growth team has been brought together to enhance our collaborative, fun, and high-performing business culture. It is important to us that all new team members can clearly see and feel the ‘Growth Vibe’
Our journey has not been without challenges; as a business, we have negotiated our way through a management buyout in year 1 – when 4 directors became 3 – and then not only surviving but growing, during the COVID-19 era. However, with our overarching commitment and drive, together with the support of our amazing team, we have had to batten down the hatches on occasions, but we are here today and already see 2021 as being a bright and positive year for us as we respond to a strengthening Queensland property market.
Since our inception, GROWTH has delivered over 100 projects, with revenues approaching $40M. These figures alone have made us proud of how far we have come in such a short time.
In 2021, we will build on these foundations, and continue to nurture our positive relationships with our clients, landlords, and industry colleagues.
Exciting times lie ahead as we look to secure a new “GROWTH CENTRAL‘ to accommodate our growing team and showcase our fitout capability in our new workspace. In addition to this, new business initiatives and offerings will see our capability developing with in-house design expertise and the launch of GROWTHX which will cater for boutique fitouts and landlord refurbishment works.
The entrepreneurial spirit that launched GROWTH Australia is still alive and well, and we look forward to sharing our news and working with you all in the near future.
